PMV provides solution for Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS) at 900 Bars pressure for ATCO Gas

Recently, PMV has been consulting with ATCO Gas for the technical development and production of green Hydrogen with Australian designed and engineered Clean Energy Innovation Hub at its Jandakot depot. ATCO is adding Hydrogen Refuelling Station to their existing facility. PMV scope included undertaking HAC Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS) supplied by HESKEL. HRS compress, store and dispense hydrogen at 900 bar.

PMV performed HAC dispersion calculations from first principles and compared the results with AS/EI15/API RP505 and recommend controls to optimise HAC within the plant layout.

  1. It took time to find the correct hydrogen plume algorithm to work out the dispersion calculation and verify it as there are no equivalent dispersion examples are available in   AS/NZS/ IEC or API RP 505 standards or IP EI15 code; and
  2. The Calculations from first principle were rather tedious.

PMV performs Risk Assessment for Battery Storage Energy System as per AS/NZS 5139: 2019

PMV has also recently completed a Risk Assessment as per the latest Battery Storage Energy System (BSES) Standard AS/NZS 5139 for ATCO Gas and recommend necessary controls to treat the risks.
