This competency based training program is delivered face-to-face theory and practical content delivery with a comprehensive notes, ongoing tutor support and a practical design and installation task.
Statement of Attainment provides competencies to undertake design, install, configure, test and commission battery storage systems for grid-connected PV system to AS/NZS 5033:2021. Installation of photovoltaic (PV) arrays and AS/NZS 5139:2019 Electrical Installation – Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment.
After obtaining the Statement of Attainment, the student can apply to the nominated accreditor appointed by the Clean Energy Regulator for Battery Storage for Grid-Connect PV Systems Accreditation.
This course is designed for electricians who have an unrestricted electrical license and wish to further improve their skills by gaining a qualification to design and install battery storage systems for grid-connected PV system.
PRE-REQUISITE
To be awarded a Statement of Attainment, you must hold a current unrestricted electrical license issued by an Australian state or territory and Solar Grid Connect PV Design & Install Statement of Attainment.

This Statement is issued to a student who has successfully completed one or more units of competency on meeting the prerequisite requirements.

A written design project is to be completed on the completion of theory assessment
*Each financial year, Eligible Persons with an approved CITB number can obtain up to $3,000 of training subsidies off any CITB endorsed short course, with a CITB endorsed training provider.
