A binding agreement arises between the student and Project Management Vision (PMV) upon submission of the enrolment form and the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The agreement is normally governed by the laws of the state where the training will be provided.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the student:
- agrees to comply with PMV’s policies and procedures/processes as published on the PMV website and PMV Student Handbook; and
- is confirming that they fulfill all entry requirements for the course in which they are enrolling.
The student/participant agrees that all the information they provide on the enrolment form is correct and PMV is not responsible for false or misleading information provided.
It is the student’s responsibility to inform PMV in writing of any corrections or changes to personal details including name, address and phone numbers, payment options and banking details.
Course registration begins 15 minutes prior to course commencement. To avoid any disruption to classes, PMV reserves the right to restrict the entry to a course after it has commenced.
Subject to successful completion of all course requirements, provision of a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) and the course fee being paid in full, PMV will issue students with certification documentation for the nationally recognised units of competency or qualifications they have completed. This may include documentation to confirm attendance at, or completion of a course (e.g. refresher training), achievement of assessment requirements (e.g. against Australian/New Zealand standards), a Statement of Attainment for successful completion of nationally recognised units of competency (e.g. when a full qualification is not completed) or a nationally recognised qualification when all requirements have been met (e.g. course completion plus Electrician’s licence, and recognition for workplace evidence or verified existing skills and knowledge, where relevant).
PMV will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the course as outlined on the website.
However PMV reserves the right to:
- Cancel proposed classes prior to commencement, if the minimum number of students required has not been met. Any cancellation notification will be sent 7 working days prior to the commencement of class;
- Make reasonable adjustment to the timetable, location or presenters specified for a course;
- Make reasonable amendments to the contextualised content and syllabus of a course to meet the special site equipment and group needs as and when deemed necessary;
- Ask any person to leave the course, without refund, if that person breaches the Code of Conduct outlined in the PMV Student Handbook.
- Ask any person to leave the course, without refund, if that person breaches the Code of Conduct outlined in the PMV student Handbook.
The course fee does not include computer hardware, software or other information technology appliances which are required for participation in the course. Students/participants must take responsibility to update themselves with the course requirements published on the PMV website. Examples of required materials are laptop computers and AS/NZS standards.
If a course is eligible for government funding either partly or fully, then it is important to note that government funding may be subject to change from time to time. Whenever reasonably practicable PMV will endeavour to advise potential students if their enrolment might be affected by funding changes. Notwithstanding, students/particpants are liable for all course fees incurred, as listed on the website at the time of enrolment.
Courses are not eligible for VET-Fee-Help student loans.
Where fees in advance are applicable, no cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received more than ten (10) working days prior to the commencement of a course. If PMV has already received full or part payment for the course, that amount will be fully refunded.
Notification of cancellation of less than ten (10) working days prior to a course commencement will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of any fees paid. Notification of cancellations made less than five (5) working days prior to the commencement of a course will result in a cancellation charge equal to of the full fees paid.
PMV must be in receipt of a formal notification of a cancellation or transfer request, in writing, by mail or email, and this must then be confirmed in writing by PMV staff.
In the event of PMV cancelling a course, a proportion of the fees paid (for training not yet delivered), will be refunded. Liability will be limited to the refund of the full course fee only if paid in full by the student/participant. Refund payments will be credited within five (5) working days, upon receipt of written cancellation. All payments will be credited to bank accounts. PMV must be in receipt of a formal notification of a cancellation or transfer request, in writing, by mail or email, and this must then be confirmed in writing by PMV staff.
PMV guarantees the delivery and assessment of the course once it is commenced. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances arising which may result in non-delivery and assessment of the course, then in such a case PMV will make every effort to assist in the transfer of students to other RTOs in order for them to complete their course. A proportion of the fees paid (for training/assessment not provided) will be refunded. In the event of RTO closure, a record of all qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued to students will be transferred to the RTO regulator.
All rights to training materials issued by PMV are reserved. No materials, either in part or in full, may be copied, reproduced, transmitted or stored in any form or by any means whatsoever, including electronic, mechanical, photocopying or otherwise, without the prior written permission of PMV. Training materials are designed for use during the period of the course and for personal use after completion of the course. Course materials may not be sold.
Notwithstanding the provision of copyright clause above, student assessments may be used by PMV as exemplars for benefit of providing guidance to future PMV students. PMV will obtain written permission from the student for this purpose.
All proposals issued by PMV to client organisations are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Should amendments be requested by the client, this may result in a new proposal being issued. The number of attendees is limited to that specified in the proposal. Any additional numbers will be quoted for separately, as additional charges may be incurred.
PMV will not commence with training process for your course(s) until a signed acceptance form, accompanied by an appropriate form of payment (EFT, cheque or purchase order) is received. This must be received a minimum of ten (10) working days before the scheduled course dates. PMV requires this time to make the necessary arrangements to provide quality training material and course delivery.
Payment terms are strictly 14 days from date of invoice for courses delivered in Australia, unless agreed otherwise. For courses scheduled outside Australia, course fees must be paid one week (7 days) prior to the start of the course.
